Why is the Joan Harris Centre considered the premiere dance school in Northeastern Pennsylvania? For many reasons! One explanation could be because its students have been recognized nationally for their skills and have won scholarships from several different dance companies. Their dancers are not only the most sought after performers in the area but also they act like and are considered professionals in every sense of the term. Indeed, Joan Harris and her instructors have produced several professional dancers over the years.
Another reason could be the multitude of recitals the studio holds each year. The dedication and hard work exhibited by all the instructors of the school keeps the Centre miles above the rest. However, the underlying reason why the Joan Harris Centre enjoys such a great reputation is because of its founder Joan Harris and her personally trained instructors who donate so much of their free time to make sure that each and every student is recognized and "feels special".
