AUBRIELLE SMITH - Instructor
Aubrielle studies ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop at the centre as she has continuously done for the past thirteen years. Aubrielle has performed in every production the school has staged over that time receiving several supporting roles in the full-length ballets such as Puss in Boots, Snow White and this year’s Don Quixote. She was the lead , Maria, in the 2008 West Coast Story set directed by Thomas Wilkins and Becky Bogdanovich. Ms Smith performed with the Moscow Ballet in their production of the Great Russian Nutcracker. Most recently she appeared in the Wilkes University’s Spring Dance Concert at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center in Wilkes-Barre. She augments her studies by attending master classes by professional dancers from across the country as well as with Russian ballerinas and danseurs. Aubrielle graduated from Dallas High School in 2010 where she was involved in the Student Council, Student Government and a member of the National Honor Society throughout her high school career. While at Dallas High, she was a member of the school’s Dance Team performing at various athletic events. She is currently a sophomore at Wilkes University from whom she received several scholarships based on her scholastic achievements. Aubrielle is pursuing a doctorate degree in Pharmacy with a minor in dance and has been on the Dean’s list each semester since
