Alena Spagnuolo

Alena began studying dance at age four under the direction of Joan Harris. After taking some time off to pursue other interest, Miss Spagnuolo recently returned to centre and today can be found in the classroom studying ballet, tap and jazz. Miss Spagnuolo is a member of the Pony Express, a dance team that performs at all of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers home games. She also spent several years performing with the Wyoming Valley West Marching Band and Concert Band, playing both flute and saxophone. Alena was part of the Band Front. She is currently studying Elementary Education at Luzerne County Community College and hopes someday to become a teacher. She is on the cheerleader squad of the college. For several years Miss Spagnuolo served as a volunteer at General Hospital and continues to do so today. In addition to her dance studies, Alena also studied guitar and piano.
