Charles Goddertz New York City
Mr. Goddertz is a triple threat as a performer, instructor and director. As a performer, Charles is a veteran of seven Broadway musicals, working with Carol Channing, Pearl Bailey, Bernedette Peters and Tommy Tunes. As an instructor, he conducts tap seminars for all the major dance organizations both nationally and internationally. Additionally, Mr. Goddertz teaches at "Steps" in Manhattan, Dance Extensions and Galantine New York University. Charles is presently working on a book titled "Tap Dance 101" for use in collegiate dance departments. As a director and choreographer, Charles has worked in summer stock, dinner theater, universities and off-Broadway. He is currently negotiating to mount a revival of "Curley Medimple", a parody on Shirley Temple. Charles is also developing a new musical with playwright Wayne Sheridan titled "Opening Night", picking up where "Chorus Line" left off.
Charles is the founder of DanceVision, a supplier of instructional dance videos, music and related items. Mr. Goddertz has taught for the Joan Harris Centre on four occasions.
