 DANA SMITH – Instructor
Dana is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Kings College where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. While attending classes she was a member of the Kings College Dance Team. Ms. Smith was the class valedictorian for Wyoming Valley West High School class of 2000 and has won scholarships for her academic work as well as community service achievements. She is currently a Science teacher at GAR High School where she also co-directs and choreographs the school’s annual musicals including Grease and this year Beauty and the Beast. This past spring she was hired to choreograph Sweet Charity for the Little Theater of Wilkes-Barre. has been studying dance at the Joan Harris Centre since age five and has studied from other master teachers at local and regional dance conventions. Ms. Smith performed in New York City at the prestigious Performance Outlet hosted by the Broadway Dance Centre. Dana has her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton.
