Halloween Spooktacular

Ghost and goblins, cats and cowboys, even werewolves and "wabbits" all make their appearance at our annual Halloween Spooktacular. Long considered one of the most enjoyable shows of the year, our annual October production gives the students the chance to become mythical creatures, storybook characters and animals of every shape and color. Hobos happily tap the night away, barnyards come alive as farm animals entertain us with their songs and dances and even giant pumpkins have been known to jump up from their patch and do a little dance.

All of the students of the Centre perform in this first show of the new season. The show is the product of only eight lessons and features a variety of ballet, tap and jazz dances all set to a Holiday theme. The Joan Harris Dancers become friendly monsters, fairy princesses and space aliens in a show that surely represents the make believe aspect of this holiday.

Just to keep a real balance to Halloween Spooktacular, and to add a little "trick" to what is mostly “treat”, the production always includes a haunting piece; giving the audience a slight scare before fright night. The music is great, the sets are wonderful and you’ll see every kind of creature imaginable. A musical costume parade if you will. This is a great show to bring your “little monsters” to.
