The show features all the seasonal songs that make that time of the year special in everyone’s hearts. Beautiful ballet, tempo driven tap and jumping jazz dances are performed to both contemporary and classic holiday music.
This performance has become a tradition for families from around the region. It is the perfect antidote for those who feel inundated by productions of "The Nutcracker”, but still would like to be entertained by a professionally staged show that celebrates the holiday season. Enchanting vocalists and skilled professional musicians join our talented dancers in a tight production that offers something for everyone.
A welcome break from all the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations, our annual extravaganza is designed to be a true family affair. The theme is always a tribute to those who are important to us; our families and friends and of the love for one another that we share; truly the greatest gift of them all.
Fun and festive best describes our approach to producing a holiday show as all of the students in the school, from the tots up to our adult classes pool their talents to entertain the community. We mix traditional dances, inspirational lyrical pieces, narrative story telling and good old fashion song and dance routines that reflect the spirit of season.
Expect to whistle along to the music selected, as we entice you to remember childhoods of old and all the memories they conjure up. You will be moved by some of the more serious pieces and laugh during our always-present comic relief. (We’ve even been known to spoof everything from “The Night Before Christmas” to “The Nutcracker”). Mark your calendars today and make this show part of your holiday tradition.
