 JODY KOCHER –
Instructor
Jody has been studying dance at the Joan Harris Centre since the age of three. She continues to study Ballet, Tap, Jazz and hip-hop at both the Kingston and Dallas campuses. Additionally she has participated in many dance festivals and clinics both locally and in Philadelphia. Jody has performed in literally hundreds of productions including full-length Ballets, the Pennsylvania Choreographers Showcase, at the NEPTA Award shows and the biblical musical Tales of Wonder. Miss Kocher is a graduate of GAR High School where she was active in a host of extracurricular activities including cheerleading, field hockey, tennis, volleyball and chorus. Jody was a member of the National Honor Society and was honored in both the Who’s Who in American High School Students and Who’s Who in American College Students. She performed in and choreographed several musicals including Once Upon A Mattress, The Wizard of Oz, The Fantastics for the Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre and most recently Through The Looking Glass for Back Stage Pass. The Deutsche Institute has engaged her to be an instructor for a dance clinic at College Misericordia. Jody was a member of the dance company TAP MANIACS which was showcased at ArtsYouniverse and performed for the Governor at the Annual Pennsylvania Governor’s Awards for the Arts celebration.
