Melissa Reynolds
Adjunct Instructor
In addition to teaching and studying dance at the Joan Harris Centre, Melissa dances with the Pony Express, the dance team for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers of the AFL2. In September of 2001 she performed on Broadway and West 57th Street as part of the Broadway Dance Center production of "The Performance Outlet". She has also appeared as a soloist in the New York City production of "The Nutcracker" at the Manhattan Theatre. Additionally, she performed with the corpse de ballet in the snow scene.
Miss Reynolds is a graduate of the Joan Harris Centre's teacher training program and continues to study dance both at the studio and at workshops and conventions around the state. Melissa recently took part in a dance intensive hosted by the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
She has performed in a variety of theatrical productions including "Tales of Wonder" and "West Side Story". This past spring, she was asked to choreograph the student review at Meyers High School. She recently has been named to the All Star squad of the international UCA cheerleaders.
