Rhapsody James Broadway Dance Center, New York City
Ms. Rhapsody James, born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx. She has been dancing since the sage of seven and choreographing since the age of sixteen. In the summer of 1997, Rhapsody became one of the two choreographers of the NBA New Jersey Nets Dance Team, and principal dancer in one of the hottest videos of the summer, Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See by Busta Rhymes. She appeared on the MTV Network Program such as MTV's The Grind, VH-1 80's Dance Party, VH-1 Fashion Awards and Lip Service (1993).
Rhapsody's current projects include choreographing for the NY Knick City Dance Team, Two Artists on Epic Records and RCA, as well as holding a position as senior dance director of the NIKE Hip-Hop Dance Troupe called Culture Shock.
Latest credit includes Assistant Choreographers for the Ruff Ryder/Interscope artist Eve who is now touring on the Ruff Ryder/Cash Money Millionaire Tour.
