Tracie Stanfield

Tracie Stanfield has choreographed for Mercedes Benz, The Ricki Lake Show, Danceworks, The Jazz Dance Festival Artist Excellence Awards, Tapestry Dance Company, Dancers Responding to AIDS and two Off-Broadway productions for Mirrored Musicals, among others. She was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine as one of "Nine Dancemakers making History" (April 2001).
She has recently returned from Istanbul, Turkey, serving as creative consultant for the European tour of Sultans of the Dance.
Tracie has worked in commercial and concert dance venues; music videos, regional theatre and national dance organizations. She is the artistic director of Synthesis Dance Project(SDP), a concert dance company that premiered at the Jazz Dance World Congress in 1999. SDP was recently seen at the remember project, BDC's the Best of..., Coming Together 2000 and sold-out concerts of In the Mix, the NYC debut concert of Synthesis Dance Project.
